About

I am a collector of things that make me happy.

I am a curator of spaces that provide solace, entertain whimsy and evoke uncanny notions.

I am a writer of all sorts, including a novel (it’s a ghost story) and probably, in the future, some musings about art. I might make some pictures too. Watch this space.

I have some degrees (Psychology) which is nice but just a small part of what makes me me. Well, the degree part. The psychology part is in everything, but I don’t think you need a degree to know or understand that.

I live in Cape Town (always have, hopefully always will) with my husband Pete and currently (maybe forever? I know, I know) our two cats, Eddie and Mathilda.

Beryl is an Art House/Studio/Museum, home to my private collection of art and other curiosities. In addition to being my work home, I will be opening the gallery to the public on selected days to come and experience art by South African artists collected and curated by a South African human, who couldn’t live without it.
